Artist Bio
Céline Huyghebaert is an artist and a writer. She works most commonly with text and its relationship with image, book and space. In her own practice, she uses a broad range of techniques, like traditional and digital printing processes, collage, sound and archives, to tell stories that are part documentary part fiction. In 2019, she won the Governor General’s Award for her first novel Le drap blanc published by Le Quartanier, and she was awarded the Bronfman Fellowship in Contemporary Art. She has been living in Montréal since 2002.
