Participatory Installation | OSO planning & design | "WEave"

Updated: Aug 9

August 2 - 4

During Sappyfest Weekend

Outside of Struts Gallery

"WEave" is a participatory installation - part woven sculpture, part seating and part performance.

Attendees weave strands into structures, creating a space for listening to music, sharing stories,

and relaxing. Through collective weaving, the installation grows vibrant, reflecting shared

connections and celebrating joyful making.

About OSO planning + design

OSO planning + design is an interdisciplinary studio that focuses on large-scale public art, urban

planning, architecture, design-build, and education. Central to their ethos is the belief that every

project can integrate and empower the community. OSO's work enables communities to

envision possibilities, shape their future, and transform visions into tangible actions. The WEave

artist team is comprised of Michael MacLean, Jen Frail, and Kieran Stepan.
