February 20, 2016 – 1:00 pm
A conversation lead by Daniel Barrow.
In this presentation Barrow will address alternate paths of raising funds for art production. We will examine the various ways artists approach, create and sustain stable (or not so stable) careers. What defines a successful career in the arts? How comfortable are we as artists bowing to the sometimes very superficial demands of the commercial art world? How do artists become more comfortable asking to be paid? These questions and more will be addressed.
Free, all are welcome.
