Call for Submissions | Living is Easy Members' Projects 2025

Eligibility: Struts members living within Tantramar

Living is Easy is an ongoing professional development program for Struts Gallery members to use the gallery for self-directed exploration. This could entail creating work, documenting work, installing an exhibition, hosting workshops, and/or experimenting with process in the studio space. Participating artists will have access to one of the gallery spaces, with the support of Gallery staff and access to tools and equipment during their project period. Struts Gallery will also promote the program and participants through its website, social media, and newsletter.

All Living is Easy projects will be on view to the public during gallery hours.

Living is Easy project periods run for 2 weeks. They begin and end on a Tuesday. They are generally in Gallery 3, although for some project periods, Gallery 1 is available. (See below) Floor plans can be found here.

• April 15 – April 29 (Gallery 3 available)

• May 6 – May 20 (Gallery 1 or 3 available)

• May 27 – June 10 (Gallery 1 or 3)

• June 24 – July 8 (Gallery 3 available)

• August 8 – 22 (Gallery 3 available)

  
  

If you have an idea for a project that would require less than two weeks – a short workshop, artist talk, a happening – please feel free to propose it and we'll work to find an opening in the schedule.
