For the month of October, Robyn Moody is fixing and altering the functions of household appliances that would otherwise be sent to the rubbish heap. This residency also gives Moody the opportunity to explore a second project involving the creation of an interactive map. This map will consist of a path of light projected into the floor. With each choice of the participant the map on the floor will change. While at Struts, Moody will give an artist presentation, provide instruction in how to make a proper cup of coffee, and direct workshops that integrate the use of technology, machine elements, and custom electronics in the arts.
